I should probably have added that as a consequence of ending loot drops, you'd need some way of manufacturing named modules.
Hmm.
A new line of manufacturing: meta 0 T1 module + looted drone alloy widgets = meta level 1/2/3/4 module?
I don't think CCP want to change invention too so no "kill named loot" Maybe something like this: - No minerals from drones! - No dropping meta 0 items. - Change amount of minerals you get when reprocess meta 1/2/3/4 items to very low amounts! This way we are giving industry CPR and its easy to do.

It should removed be from all drones, not only DRF... |

That two things is a MUST!!!
and third - Change amount of minerals you get when reprocess meta 1/2/3/4 items to very low amounts! would be a nice change...
after you do that... you will see what industry can become. That's a big problem when you train all related skills and metalscrap processing up to at least 4, do you know how much training time is needed to get this "small" reward? The amount of minerals coming from drones is exponential compared with items reprocessing, remember loot from rats is already nerfed and very often even frigates give better loot than BS's. If you really want to nerf that too then give back the sp from metalscrap skill and those related. EDIT: Or make it so when you reprocess mods you have a chance of get T2 minerals or total 0, in very small amounts but this would compensate I guess
When something is broken its must be fixed... And you are saying "keep all things that are broken and i like it broken and change only things that i dont like"... So CCP now "have to" get back SP to all players that have trained SC because they nerfed it??? So CCP "had to" get back all Indy skills to Indy ppl years ago when they nerfed industry with drone regions and other things that nerfed industry??? there is one solution... get all SP to all players back so they can re-distribute it every expansion...
as years pass, there are changes... some are good for you and some are bad... overall game is being balanced and you need to adapt like we all are adapting over all this years... |

ok... then KILL THE MINING! KILL THE INDUSTRY! THROW IT OUT OF GAME! AND GIVE US OUR SP BACK AND THEN DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO DO!!! AND WHEN YOU DO THAT, THEN KILL ALL ADVERTISEMENTS THAT ADVERTISE EVE AS PLAYER DRIVEN ECONOMY!!!
when you mine killing drones and rats and earn more then miner... then there is no place in EVE for mining... and when you kill rats for all T1 modules... then whats the point of industry in EVE... |

Hakaru Ishiwara wrote:HELIC0N ONE wrote:Alongside Soundwave's drone region comments, something I'd like to see would be to stop modules dropping from NPCs altogether so that mining became the only source of minerals, and manufacturing of basic T1 items hopefully became a viable entry-level profession for hopeful industrialists. As things stand, alloy drops from the drone regions cripple the miners, and loot drops from the rest of space undermine the manufacturers (and the miners, if the loot is melted down).
If CCP ever gets serious about revamping the industrial side of the game, this would be a good start. *TinFoilHattery* So Goons can create even more market havoc by terrorizing Gallente-space belt miners due to a newly introduced supply bottleneck? *TinFoilHattery* Giving credence to "helpful" industrial ideas from Goons is akin to putting the revolver to the temple -- never a good idea if you want to live long and prosper.
well... yea... market need to be driven by actions of players! all players do need to be seen on market! thats first rule of economy... if you dont want that... just seed all market so that ppl can buy it from NPCs and end the indy ppl misery... |

Why not have drones drop moon-goo.......
Pros: The lack of local sources of moongoo is one of the major hindrances to null-sec industry. Drone plexes are available in all spaces, thereby potentially providing a small source of goo to all regions.
The isk from tech moons rarely goes to individuals, but to Corp / Corp leaders. This would move some of that value back into Average Joe's pocket.
Cons: The isk from tech moons is a major source of conflict within EvE. If you devalue the moon too much, it will no longer be such a tasty target.
Drone Belt Farming (*cough* botting ) has already shown its ability to massively influence the EvE market. If this is not properly balanced, the results could be devistating.
Here is a thought... maybe...
p.s. untill this thread i didn't thought that goons can have constructive posts... and not only for them constructive... thnx to HELIC0N ONE for this experience... |
